Round 10 and Semi finals report

Minis played their second last game for the season and there were some impressive displays of touch football. Round 10 results: Parrots 5 def Kangaroos 1, Dingoes 8 def Wallabies 2 Next week is the last game, come prepared for something a little bit different! All players are required to return their shirts after presentations.

Semi final results: Dragons 13 def Knights 2, Raiders 5 def Sea Eagles 3, Eels 18 def Sharks 4, Storm 6 def Cowboys 0.  This means that Dragons play Raiders in the 11-13s Grand Final and Eels play Storm in the 14-17s Grand Final. Knights, Sea Eagles, Cowboys and Sharks don’t play, but we’d love you to come and get a sausage, watch the finals and stick around for the presentations. Playing shirts need to be returned next week or before, if you can’t be there. Please arrange to give it to someone to bring next Tuesday or Monday at the seniors comp. If you are still playing, please remember to bring a spare shirt.

Semi Finals & Round 10

Minis Round 10 – 5.30 pm: Parrots v Kangaroos, Wallabies v Dingoes
Semi Finals are played on a 1 v 4, 2 v 3 basis
11-13s Semi Finals – 5.30 pm: Dragons v Kights, Sea Eagles v Raiders (winners to Grand Final)
14-17s Semi Final – 6.30 pm: Eels v Sharks, Storm v Cowboys (winners to Grand Final)
Playing shirts of losing team members will be collected at the end of semi finals, so please bring a spare shirt.
Sausage sizzle and presentations for all teams will be held after minis round 11 and grand finals. All playing shirts will be collected after presentations (5.12.17).

At the AGM held on 21.11.17 a new committee was formed, to be assisted by existing and past committee members.

There is always room for more input with general committee positions available. Players and parents are more than welcome to attend meetings.

Round 9 report

Minis had close scores this week and some exciting runs and touches. We also had a few lessons about fairness and sportsmanship and a reminder to call the touch loud and clear only after you’ve made the touch. There are only two weeks left with presentations and a sausage sizzle on the last week. Round 9 results: Parrots 5 def Dingoes 3, Kangaroos 4 def Wallabies 3

The scores were higher in the 11 – 13’s division with some very entertaining touch played. Semi finals are on next week with 1 v 4 and 2 v 3. Round 9 results: Sea Eagles 10 def Raiders 5, Dragons 10 def Knights 4
